United Bank of Africa Limited (UBA Bank) has appointed one of his insider Ms Mary Mulili as the Chief Executive Offer and Managing Director taking over from Chike Isiuwe.Before joining United Bank for Africa Plc, Mr Isiuwe worked at Zenith Bank Plc for 17 years starting as a Bank Teller and progressing to Relationship Management in Corporate and Commercial Banking and in various capacities in Branch Operations. He worked with different cross- functional teams within Zenith Bank to achieve notable growth in the branch network, balance sheet and the Banks overall performance. Mr. Isiuwe later exited Zenith Bank as The Regional Head and Assistant General Manager to join UBA Group in 2013.
Mulili was the Executive Director with the bank until the recent appointment.”As a seasoned banker Mulili brings on board vast of experience and expertise in Corporate and Commercial banking,public sector,Institutional Banking, Consumer banking and Digital innovation across notable financial institutions”Read the statement.
Ms.Mulili holds an MBA in Finance, Bachelor degree in Education with a focus on accounting and Economics as well as leadership management Certifications in project management, business management and customer management respectively
She has also been able to cater for project finance loan and transactions.
