OLA Energy Kenya has launched a customer reward scheme dubbed OLA GO App that will see customers earn incentives worth millions of shillings in ‘GO’ redeemable points every time they purchase fuel, lubricants or Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products at any OLA Energy service station across the country.
Speaking during the official unveiling of OLA GO App and Kilimani branch, OLA Energy Chief Operating Officer Mr. Maurizio Libutti said the OLA GO loyalty initiative is the next strategy in the company’s broader consumer insight-based digital strategy due to the rise in mobile money shopping. Customers will receive points at every purchase, where accumulated points will lead to an upgraded OLA membership tier with an opportunity to receive awards.
“OLA GO App is available from Play Store or App Store. It has a live chat feature that connects you to our WhatsApp contact number to enhance our 24-hour customer support. You will start earning GO points as soon you download the App. The registration of OLA GO program is available at any OLA station countrywide. We are at the forefront of customer loyalty landscape across the country, and we would like to make your entire journey as enjoyable as possible, while earning more as you go to live by our tagline ‘We Keep You Going’, “said Libutti.
OLA Energy Kenya General Manager Millicent Onyonyi said the company’s retail footprint now stands at 109 across the country, and is keen on fostering African born prosperity geared at wealth creation through its partnerships with dealers in the retail network.
“We have partnered with various stakeholders in the telecommunication industry where our customers can redeem OLA GO points for mobile phone airtime from Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom. For meal and shopping vouchers, customers can redeem the GO points at Jumia, Glovo and Text Book Centre among other retailers.
The OLA GO App comes after the introduction of secure and real-time O’Card used to fuel a vehicle or fleet and purchase of other products conveniently, with customized spending limits and recording of ‘input mileage’ that helps in control of fuel consumption.
With the current robust growth, Onyonyi added that the service station will also comprise a family-oriented versatile backcourt boasting of premium service centres, food courts, bank ATMs, chemists and laundromat, hence offering the customers unmatched convenience at Kilimani and beyond.
Also present was OLA Kilimani service station dealer Sayee Mohamed who was elated on the commencement of the partnership with the company which he termed as a successful collaboration that will bring OLA Energy closer to customers’ convenience.
Similarly, the company also launched a second branch in Gitaru in Kikuyu. The expansion network brings proximity to the customers in a strategic location adjacent to Yaya Centre and Kikuyu respectively, fitted with high-speed pumps for the ultimate fueling experience together with automotive lubricants and LPG.
The launch saw customers enjoy ‘happy hour’ with OLA Energy rewarding them with bonus fuel worth Ksh. 1,000 for every purchase of fuel worth Ksh.2,000 at both Kilimani and Gitaru service stations.
