Kenya Airways passengers will now receive flight related information and updates, for instance change in flight schedule, through email, SMS, and WhatsApp prompts.
This follows the airline’s introduction of an advanced flight communication service to enhance real-time customer communication.
The airline’s Chief Commercial and Customer Officer Julius Thairu said the solution enables personalised and prompt notifications throughout the customers’ journey.
While the environment we operate in is very dynamic and disruptions can occur anytime, we seek to constantly update our customers of any changes to minimise customer frustrations,” Thairu said.
“It also seeks to facilitate real-time communication with customers on various aspects related to their flights including check-in times, boarding gate, as well as timely updates on flight status.”
He said Kenya Airways is committed to enhanced customer experience, and will strive to deliver the highest levels of service and remain cognisant of the importance of real time communication.
To benefit for the service, the airline is calling on customers to provide their correct contact information when booking.
