Gina Din Foundation has partnered with Adanian Labs to create Daughters of Africa, a digital storytelling platform that celebrates African women leaders, their authentic stories as told from their perspectives.
Daughters of Africa is an impact-led platform focused on the equity of women of color by celebrating their achievements and connecting the old and younger generation to create measurable and tangible outcomes. It’s inspired by Daughter of Africa (2022) a book written by Gina Din, the inspiration and brain behind the platform.
“The one thing I want African women to experience on this platform is to feel heard. I’ve told my story and I’m now inviting Daughters of Africa into the room; to know that I hear you and I want to hear your story. I am so excited to bring this platform to the continent and indeed to the world where we can highlight the inspiring Daughters of Africa.” ~ Gina Din, Founder Gina Din Foundation.
Adanian Labs is a venture building studio with a mission to build tech powered impact driven startups across Africa. Now with an increased interest in bridging the gender gap within the African technology ecosystem, this partnership is timely and responds to the long-term impact the organization pursues.
“The power of women sharing their experiential stories to create a path to success for other women. And confidence required for them to become the best version of themselves, is the reason why l believe Daughters of Africa is a changing-making platform to connect women across Africa and the diaspora without the boundaries of age and position.”~ John Kamara, Founder & CEO Adanian Labs
