
Flydubai,the Dubai-based carrier has launched direct flights from Dubai to Moi International Airport (MIA), Mombasa, marking a significant milestone as the first airline from the UAE to operate direct flights to this vibrant Kenyan coastal city.
Present to receive the inaugural flight at MIA this afternoon were key dignitaries including Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport, Kipchumba Murkomen, Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife, Dr. Alfred Mutua, Governor of Mombasa County, H.E. Abdullswamad Sherrif Nassir, and Regional Airport Manager in charge of MIA and Coastal Region, Abel Gogo.
Flydubai’s service to Mombasa is scheduled to operate four times a week, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departing from Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3. It’s worth noting that Emirates will codeshare on this route, providing passengers with even more options for seamless connections through Dubai’s international aviation hub (DXB).
