The Energy Petroleum and Regulatory Authority(EPRA) has increased the fuel commodities from 8% and 16% vat effective 1st July 2023.
Accordingly the Energy Regulator has recalculated the maximum pump prices that will be in force from 1st July 2023 to 14th July 2023 taking into account the 16%vat.The changes in the maximum allowed pump prices in Nairobi is as follows;Super Petrol,Diesel and Kerosene increased by Kes.13.49 per litre,Kes.12.29 per litre and Kes.11.96 per litre respectively.
However EPRA is wishing the public its continued commitment to in the observance of fair competition and protection of the interests of both consumers and investors in the Energy and Petroleum Sectors
