Leading energy solutions provider Danfoss met with more than 100 partners, customers, and industry experts to present its solutions to
the local market, whilst emphasizing clean energy, and long-term benefits, including significant savings in terms of energy as the overall cost.
On this occassion, Danfoss proved their commitment to supporting local customers,by recently signing new partnership agreements with local providers.
Danfoss engineers solutions that increase machine productivity, reduce emissions, lower energy consumption, and enable electrification. Their solutions are used in areas such as refrigeration, air conditioning, industrial machinery, water and waste water, transportation on- and off-highways and at sea. All with the starting point that the greenest energy, is the energy we don’t use.
Danfoss has slowly been affirming its local presence, through Kenyan partners, collaborations with universities and internship programs aimed to support young talents in Kenya.They are growing their presence in the market with their current partners namely; Jash Agencies, Centurion Systems, Hydromatics and Frigitec.
The company has a strong collaboration with Danish Trade Council in Nairobi.Danish Ambassador in Kenya,H.E.Ole Thonke addressed the
media and said: “As we focus on reduction of the carbon footprint around the world; Danish companies including Danfoss bring to this market a commitment to deliver technology and engineering that is sensitive to climate change as well as business solutions that are unique and impactful.”
The Ambassador also highlighted the long-standing business relationship between Denmark and Kenya and the pivotal role Danish Companies such as Danfoss are playing in driving climate change mitigation interventions in areas of operation around world.

By 2025, data centers will for example consume 1/5 of the world’s power supply, making it vital to create data centre sustainability and cut carbon emissions. Chillers and heat pumps featuring Danfoss Turbocor technology for example can cool data centers upto 30% more efficiently than traditional compressors”, highlited Emil Berning,Danfoss Country Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa.
Danfoss has been keen to advance sustainable energy practices across its global footprint, prioritizing solutions geared toward helping
decarbonisation, energy efficiency, food retailers, food loss and waste, wastewater and waste management as well as a partner fo choice with is focus on Environmental Social Corporate Governance.
As part of the seminars, the multinational has created awareness and transfer expert knowledge to over 100 stakeholders in Kenya on how Danfoss solutions contribute to energy efficiency and decarbonization covering Danfoss Power Drives and Danfoss Climate Solutions segments.With knowledge sharing, and providing the right know-how, Danfoss is geared up to help engineer a better tomorrow for Kenya.
