As the Lionism year 2022-23 comes to an end the Lions Club of Nairobi Cargen has elected a new executive team for the year 2023-2024 which will be led by Lion Joel Muia as the new President while Tamara Asonga will be the Secretary and Eunice Malelu the Treasurer.
Car and General Managing Director David Chesoni, who is also the outgoing President and now a Board member commended the members ,the partners and the outgoing leadership for their contributions which has helped the Club to attain its objectives for the past year.
Joel Muia said “The new team will seek to increase the number of participants for service representing Lions in Company’s branches throughout the country which will help to run the activities of the Club in different towns with less logistics costs and create presence of Nairobi Cargen Club out of Nairobi.This will also create a smooth liaison and collaboration with other Lion clubs in other towns. ”He reaffirmed that Car and General will continue to channel part of its corporate social responsibility programs through the Lions Club of Nairobi Cargen.
The organization will also be able to offer service to the less fortunate in the society through projects that serve the community.
