The Listed Investment Firm- Centum Investments PLChas appointed Ms. Risper Alaro as the Group Finance.
Alaro rejoins Centum after being away on sabbatical leave, she takes over the role from Wambua Kimeu, who has resigned to pursue other interests after working at Centum for a total of 7 years.
Until mid-2018, she served Centum in various leadership capacities for a period of 18 years.
She established Centum Business Solutions Ltd and served as its first Managing Director from 2014, leading the provision of business services including finance, tax, human resource management, technology, marketing, and legal to Centum and its wholly-owned subsidiaries. She served Centum as Director, Finance, and Operations, prior to this position.

Under the Centum 4.0 strategic period (2019-2024), Centum targets to enhance shareholder value through strengthening its balance sheet by deleveraging its capital structure, enhancing its cash annuity income and increasing the dividend payments to its shareholders,” said the Centum Investment PLC Managing Director & CEO, James Mworia.
Alaro is a practising certified executive coach and serves as a non-executive director on the boards of several organizations, including Bank of Kigali (BK), Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) and Kenya Climate Ventures (KCV).
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
She is also Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a member of the Institute of Certified Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and a Certified Mentor Coach.
