The region’s leading insurance and investment holding company, Britam Holdings has been named among 50 of East Africa’s top performing brands by Superbrands East Africa, following a consumer survey undertaken by Kantar Research, across East Africa on three key parameters including quality of services/products, reliability and brand distinction.
Speaking during the awards ceremony, at the company’s headquarters in Nairobi, Britam Holdings Group Managing Director (GMD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Tom Gitogo, said the Super Brands Status award was a validation of the company’s recent awards at the 2022 Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) awards ceremony where it scooped the Life Insurance Company of the year, for the 16th consecutive year and the General Insurance Company of the year award, for outstanding performance in the insurance industry, for the financial year ending 2022.
“This award is a good endorsement from our various stakeholders including customers, whom you spoke to. It is also an affirmation of the recent awards we won at the AKI awards ceremony,” he said.
