AFRO-ASIA Fintech Festival to Focus on Inclusive Digital Economy

The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) announces that the Afro-Asia Fintech Festival (AAFF) will be held virtually on November 11, 2021. AAFF 2021, will be held as part of the virtual global Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF), which will take place on November 8-12, 2021.

Inaugurated in 2019 by CBK and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), AAFF 2021 is a vibrant platform for impactful engagement, partnerships and collaborations among central banks, fintechs, financial sector players, academia, and investors.

The theme of AAFF 2021 is ‘Sustainable Innovation for an Inclusive Digital Economy’. AAFF 2021 will feature deliberations on Web 3.0, the next phase of technology innovations and their impact, with emphasis on people-centered technology and innovation for an inclusive digital economy. AAFF 2021, will also focus on fintech in climate action for sustainability. AAFF 2021, will offer an avenue for engagement through a virtual exhibition with CBK and other stakeholders on November 8-12, 2021. AAFF 2021 will feature the following key speakers and thought leaders:
