Boda boda riders in Kitengela benefitted from first aid and road safety training held by Car and
General and St John Ambulance with support from the local administration and co-sponsors in
conjunctions with Boda Boda Association of Kenya.
The riders were taught to be vigilant and observe traffic rules. They were advised to wear safety gear that is in good condition and to avoid wearing time expired helmets.
Raphael Atanda, Car and General Head of Communication explained, “ We entered into a
partnership with St John Ambulance who are experienced in first aid and emergency medical
care to help TVS motorcycle owners to ride safely on the road. Together with other stakeholders
we will continue to hold such clinics and training in order to improve road traffic safety.”
