Equity’s brand value experienced a 1% uptick to KES 65.8 billion, cementing Equity Bank’s position at the zenith of Kenya’s financial industry, demonstrating its robust growth and resilience amidst economic adversities.

Equity Bank also sustained an impressive Brand Strength Index score of 92.46, almost on par with the previous year’s score of 92.43. This high score, bolstered by strong consumer perceptions in areas such as familiarity, consideration, and recommendation, underscores the bank’s deep-rooted relationship with its customers.
In a year that witnessed significant growth for Kenyan brands, CIC Insurance Group stood out as the fastest-growing brand, registering a remarkable 63% leap in brand value to KES 1.9 billion.
Other brands appearing in both the top 10 strongest and most valuable Kenyan brands include: Safaricom, KCB, MPESA, CooP Bank, Tusker, Kenya Power, Kenya Airways, NCBA, Jubilee Insurance and I&M Bank.
