KCB Foundation and the National Bank of Kenya (NBK) have partnered with Adanian Labs Limited to train its beneficiaries in technology and Artificial intelligence (AI )including cyber security. The partnership will see Adanian Labs and NBK implement the training while KCB Foundation will provide the beneficiaries and resources to scale up the program.
The beneficiaries will be selected from KCB’s flagship 2Jiajiri program, as well as those who have cleared high school within its education program and MSMEs.
The youth will be trained in technology-related skills and automation by utilizing AI for skills development, through digital transformation of their businesses, improving performance, and setting up enterprises within the technology sector.
The partnership is in line with KCB Foundation’s 2Jiajiri program which is focused on empowering the youth through the provision of technical skills and business development support to enable them to set up successful enterprises.
“Today’s partnership is in line with the KCB’s purpose #ForPeopleForBetter as Adanian will enable us to build a community of innovative and transformative individuals, where entrepreneurs can thrive and reach their potential,” noted Caroline Wanjeri Kihara Head of KCB Foundation.
